At Metalshub, celebrating excellence is a valued tradition. Each year, we take pride in recognising the top-performing suppliers in the metals, mining, and recycling industries who have set the standard for quality, reliability, and innovation!

The Best Supplier 2024 title is awarded to suppliers across the four categories: 

1. Sustainability
2. Recycling
3. Metals & Ferroalloys
4. Minerals 

For the Sustainability category, the award is given to the company with the most offers including detailed product carbon footprint (PCF) information, highlighting their commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility. For the Recycling, Metals & Ferroalloys, and Minerals categories, the winners are determined by the highest average transaction ratings received on Metalshub, reflecting their ability to consistently exceed customer expectations.

We are delighted to announce the winners of the Metalshub Best Supplier Awards for 2024, honouring outstanding achievements across the distinct categories:

Finnfjord AS, located in Troms and Finnmark county, Norway, is one of the leading raw materials producers and the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly producer of ferrosilicon with a production capacity of 100,000 tons per year. Brynjulv Gjerde, the Commercial Director of Finnfjord AS received the award on behalf of the team and expressed pride in the team’s achievement and their shared commitment to sustainability in the industry.

Cronimet Brasil is a key player in the global trade and recycling of stainless steel scrap, ferroalloys, and primary metal components for the stainless steel production industry. The company transforms metal waste into high-quality products and provides custom solutions to meet various recycling needs. Mauricio Silveira Borges, Supervisor of Commercial and Logistics Processes of the company, accepted the award acknowledging the hard work and dedication of their entire team.

We are thrilled to recognise L&M Group as this year’s winner in the Metals & Ferroalloys category! With a stellar reputation as a global trader of alloys and metals, L&M Group collaborates with leading ferroalloy producers across continents to supply high-quality bulk alloys to European steel producers and foundries. Accepting the award on behalf of the dedicated L&M team, Tim Libawski, one of the company’s managing directors, expressed his gratitude for this recognition.

Imerys is a world leader in mineral-based special solutions, specialising in the extraction, transformation, and development of a unique range of industrial minerals for various industries, including automotive, construction, energy, and electronics. Besides championing in the Minerals category, Imerys also works intensively with its customers on CO2 reporting and uses the advantages of the platform to regularly exchange sustainability data at the supply level and to negotiate. Andreas Weber, Key Account Manager for Refractory Producers, received the award on behalf of Imerys, honouring outstanding contributions the company makes to innovation and sustainability in the minerals sector.
