The Metalshub Summit connects thought leaders from the metals, mining & recycling industry around the topics of technology and sustainability. This event offers a unique opportunity for networking with executives across the iron & steel, copper, battery metals, aluminium & industrial minerals value chain. Our dynamic program will provide attendees with a mix of C-level speakers and panel discussions. After a successful inaugural edition in 2023 with more than 150 participants, we look forward to reconnecting in 2025!

FAQ - Metalshub Summit 2025
The 2025 Metalshub Summit will take place on May 21st and 22nd in the Zeche Zollverein in Essen, Germany. The Zeche Zollverein is a former coal mine and coking plant. With its unique architecture, it is a technical masterpiece, earning its reputation as the "most beautiful coal mine in the world."
The agenda will be a mix of informative keynote and panel presentations around the topics of technology and sustainability in the metals, mining & recycling industry. Last year's speakers included executives from ArcelorMittal, H2 Green Steel, BCG, LME and more. For 2025, we already confirmed speakers from Cronimet, Voestalpine, SMR, and Norsk Hydro. A more detailed agenda will become available in Q4 of 2024.
The event and all keynote presentations will be in English.
The Metalshub Summit is an exclusive event for executives in the metals, mining & recycling industry only. We screen applications and attendees to ensure a collaborative environment for discussions on technology and sustainability in the sector.

FAQ - Summit ticket and cancelation policy
One ticket for the Metalshub Summit costs 1,300€. Limited Early Bird tickets are currently available for 900€.
One ticket for the Metalshub Summit includes access to all keynote and panel presentations as well as catering throughout the two days. Catering includes a light breakfast, lunch and dinner on day one and a light breakfast and lunch on day two. Throughout the day, coffee and drinks will be available, and for dinner, alcoholic drinks are also included.
A second person may be added for 1,200€ (or 850€ in case of Early Bird tickets).
If written notice of cancellation is received six weeks prior to the Event, 90% of the fee will be refunded. Metalshub will assess a 10% administration fee. If written notice of cancellation is received between four and six weeks prior to the Event, 50% of the fee will be refunded. If written notice of cancellation is received after four weeks prior to the Event, no refund will be provided.

FAQ - Accomodation and transport
No, a ticket to the Metalshub Summit does not cover accommodation or transport.
To minimise travel time for attendees, we recommend staying at at the Zeche Zollverein. Alternatively, the , or hotels in Essen can also be recommended.
The location is easily accessible via public transport and tram line 107 (station "Essen Zollverein"). Alternatively, you can park your car on-site.
Yes, a large number of parking spots are available on-site.
